Astana Build 2011 Exhibition in Kazakhstan
PK Vesta employees visited Astana Build 2011 - the 13th Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Construction and Interior, Heating and Ventilation, Windows, Doors and Facades", held in Astana, Kazakhstan from May 18 to 20. The exhibition was organized by the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca and its international partners from the UK, Germany, Italy, Turkey and China. The AstanaBuild international exhibition has been held in the capital of Kazakhstan since 1999 and is the largest construction project in northern and central Kazakhstan.
One of the main goals of visiting Astana Build was to test the beta version of the unique WebSteel 1 system, which allows the client to design and calculate the cost of a pre-fabricated building on the basis of metal structures via the Internet on-line without intermediaries.
Laptops with Internet access were on display at the stand, where WebSteel 1 was tested online. Customers could calculate the instant and final cost of the pre-fabricated building and receive an automatically generated offer, terms of reference and free basic sketches right at the exhibition - printed or electronic form.
It should be noted that most of the visitors who visited the PK Vesta booth were end customers interested in buying such buildings as small warehouses, garages, farms, offices and workshops. The online design of such prefabricated buildings was a pleasure for customers who spent no more than 5 minutes. All visitors were satisfied. I especially liked the availability and convenience of the system.
The first version of WebSteel is scheduled to be available online in the fourth quarter of 2011.
