Load Calculation in WebSteel 1
The staff of the WebSteel project department conducted research with technical specialists and programmers on the design loads in WebSteel 1 based on Russian SNIPs (building codes).
The main attention was paid to the weight of prefabricated buildings based on light metal structures, generally accepted standards (for compression, torsion, movement, etc.), wind and snow loads in Russian climatic zones and the weight of enclosing structures (sandwich panels, profiled sheet and sheet assembly) .
The goal was to compare the results of the issuance and verification of generally accepted loads in the WebSteel 1 system and the Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis calculation program, which has a certificate of conformity GOSSTANDARD of RUSSIA. The study did not reveal significant deviations between the two calculation programs for different types of prefabricated buildings.
