WebSteel project from PK Vesta won 1st place in the famous international Startup Tour 2016 from Skolkovo
Startup Tour 2016 from Skolkovo was held in the period from 24th to 25th of March 2016 (regional round), in which more than 500 scientists and businessmen were gathered from the Central region of Russia.
According to the results of voting the jury selected 15 people. The first place in the segment "Information Technology" has taken online service for designing and pricing prefabricated steel buildings online. WebSteel was presented by the General business development manager - Denis Koulakov from PK Vesta.
The team of the winning project was awarded a certificate for $ 120 000. This award, which gives access to the cloud service Microsoft Azure, will help improve the online service and successfully bring it to the international construction markets.
Besides the certificate, the whole team WebSteel received the following:
the ability to use Microsoft software for individual support promising start-ups (Go to Market Accelerator), in particular, to visit a series of training sessions;
conference Startup Village, which will give a chance to qualify for a grant of 2 million rubles. The event will take place in early summer in Skolkovo.
WebSteel - is the unique online service, whose complete analogy does not exist in the world. It allows designing and pricing prefabricated steel buildings online based on the well-known construction technologies (welded beams and light gauge steel framing) It does not require any special technical skills, knowledge, and even logging in (for customers)
WebSteel project became a true technological breakthrough in the design of prefabricated buildings the world, as well as an efficient marketplace, where transactions are made in real time.
