PK Vesta plant announces the placement of an order for a modern pre-fabricated shopping center with a warehouse 18.5W x 57.5L x 6H in Astrakhan, Russia. A client with a network of mini stores and shopping centers in the Astrakhan region decided to give preference to the Tula plant, which has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of such steel buildings in Eurasia. The main task was to choose just lightweight metal structures without reference to traditional reinforced concrete structures or a classic project made out of ferrous metal, which must be protected from corrosion with expensive paint. In this project, the state-of-the-art LSGF technology (cold-formed galvanized zinc-coated profiles) is used completely for all the main load-bearing elements of the steel building (columns, trusses and secondary framing) Since 2021, the PK Vesta plant supplies elements made out of ferrous metal (about 30% of the total building weight) already on the basis of premium powder coating ( protection of about 100 microns), which makes all steel structures 100% protected from ANY corrosion for many decades to come. At the same time, the price segment of such steel buildings remains average low for the central part of Russia.
The entire steel frame is sheathed with non-combustible standard sandwich panels (100mm on the walls and 150mm on the roof) with premium mineral wool filler (with a density of 110 kg / m3) and a profiled sheet thickness of at least 0.5mm. All fittings and fasteners are included in the building kit. The client receives the steel building as a 100% bolted-together LEGO construction set without any welding.
Modern solar panels on 1 slope of the building will be installed on the roof to generate and save electricity. The wall is provided with tape window framed openings for the installation of 2-chamber double-glazed windows with high-quality suspended heat and sound insulation properties. As well as several 3x3 sectional doors for unloading and loading operations are considered.
