PK VESTA announces the completion of the construction of a pre-fabricated supermarket 27W х 62L х 7.2H PETEROCHKA in Pushkino, Russia. A client who has worked for many years in the real estate development market in Moscow and the Moscow region decided to order new steel buildings of non-standard form for further delivery of pre-fabricated buildings to large and medium-sized grocery brand networks in Russia.
PK VESTA applied the new design of a HYBRID system of light steel structures with a flat roof based on Rigid Framing (columns made out of ferrous metal - welded I-beams) and LSGF - trusses and purlings made out of cold-formed galvanized profiles, which gave significant cost savings to a client for load-bearing steel structures compared with a flat roof made entirely from welded non-galvanized trusses.
The lightweight steel frame was assembled on time and sheathed with classic non-flammable sandwich panels (walls - 120mm and roof - 150mm), including all trimming and fasteners in the steel building delivered from the Tula factory. A standard column foundation was used on a relatively flat area (building constrictions site). Floors were poured with topping after the external thermal contour was created. Modern glass facades chosen by our customer with an entrance group dramatically increased the natural lighting inside of the steel building.
The fast-built store was priced and designed for free in the innovative online service WebSteel, accessible by the Internet users 24 hours and 7 days a week.
