WebSteel Customer Survey 1
The WebSteel project department at PK Vesta conducted a preliminary customer survey on the design and calculation system in anticipation of the release of the first version of WebSteel 1 in the fourth quarter of 2011.
The main tasks were as follows:
Understand how intuitive the WebSteel 1 Interface is (on-line steps on the Internet) for a client with a non-technical background.
Understand how easy it is for the client to navigate in the selection of prefabricated building parameters in WebSteel 1.
Find out how useful for the client is the function of automatically generating a commercial offer, technical specifications and free basic drawings in WebSteel 1.
Find out how important is the online calculation of the cost of a pre-fabricated building via the Internet for the client.
Find out how much time a client spends on average designing a prefabricated building via the Internet in the range from 1000 to 2000 sq.m.
The staff of the WebSteel project department received interesting results. On average, a client spends about 5 minutes designing a basic prefabricated building. In most cases, the process of on-line designing and calculating the value of a building in WebSteel 1 is intuitive and simple. Many liked the instant visualization of parameter changes in the main 3D window. Automatic generation of a set of documents is considered extremely useful for saving time. Customers expressed a desire to quickly see the release of the first version of WebSteel at the end of the year.
