Anti-ram system for automatic gates
Anti-ram system for automatic gates.
The composition, structure and operation of the product.
The product is installed in the sliding gate of model V-40C and is intended for joint with the gates to detain the vehicle when trying to unauthorized entry to the object or exit the object with the gates closed.
The composition of the product includes:
automatic sliding gates of the V-40C model;
section;
two catchers.
The operation of the product is as follows:
When a vehicle weighing about 4 tons, moving at a speed of at least 10 km / h, strikes a bumper section, the bolts fasten the section to the gate leaf and the barriers are pushed onto catchers.
With further movement, the vehicle acts on the door leaf and, moving by inertia, deforms it. The joint deformation of the door leaf and the vehicle itself absorbs most of the impact energy.
In the process of deformation of the door leaf, the trap cable is gradually stretched and, together with the section frame, transfers force to the catchers. Under the action of the moment from this effort, plastic twisting and bending of the racks of both catchers occurs, which ultimately leads to the absorption of the remaining part of the vehicle’s energy of movement and the final braking of the latter.
