Is it possible to attach a new building to the existing one?
Yes, there is such an opportunity. Buildings / extensions can be associated with the lengthening or expansion of a pre-fabricated building. There are several options:
- The new building will be constructed on the existing one. It may be cheaper, but an examination of the bearing capacity of a standing building will be required, which will increase the budget for construction.
- Installation of a detached building close to the existing one. This option is slightly more expensive, but excludes the examination of an existing building.
Typically, customers choose a single-slope type of structure to eliminate “snow bags” between the two buildings. When designing a complete building, a client can create an “empty wall” (adjacent to an existing building) to minimize the cost of building envelopes.
