What type of foundation should I use?
For northern countries, we usually use a columnar or pile foundation taking into account snow, wind and seismic loads. The freezing point of soils can reach 1.5-2 meters. A lightweight metal frame based on anchor bolts is mounted on top. A foundation beam with a socle is poured along the perimeter from above, if necessary (to protect the lower part of the building during the off-season)
When exporting to southern countries (the Middle East, Africa), reinforced concrete slabs are often poured (with the thickness of 100 to 300 mm usually). The frame is attached to the slab based on chemical anchor bolts.
PK VESTA factory preliminarily issues the client a technical task for the foundation, which indicates the location of the base of the columns, the loads on the foundation, the center distance, the pitch of the frames, the dimensions of the base of the columns, the diameter of the holes for anchors, etc. Based on this document, the client is advised to order the project on the foundation at their place.
